Applying Education 5.0 Through Real Classroom Experiences During Work Integrated Learning
About This Portfolio
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is more than standing in front of a class and delivering lessons. It is an opportunity to transform educational theories into meaningful experiences that shape learners and communities. This e-portfolio captures my journey as a student teacher at Glenview 9 Primary School and demonstrates how I incorporated the principles of Education 5.0 into my daily professional activities during my WIL attachment.
Throughout my attachment, I worked closely with Grade 4 Blue learners, creating learning experiences that promoted academic growth, creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills. Beyond classroom instruction, I participated in activities that encouraged innovation, community involvement, research-based decision-making, and productive learning.
The experiences documented in this portfolio reflect my development as an educator who understands that modern education should not only impart knowledge but also prepare learners to become responsible, creative, and productive members of society.
Each section highlights one of the five pillars of Education 5.0 and provides evidence of how I applied that pillar during my Work Integrated Learning experience. Through reflection, I examine the lessons learned, the skills acquired, and the impact of these experiences on both my learners and my professional growth.
This portfolio therefore serves as a record of my commitment to becoming a teacher who embraces continuous learning, innovation, community development, and learner empowerment.
